Introduction: Welcome to KB's K9 Fitness. My name is KB and I have been a Registered Nurse in the Richmond community for over 25 years. My love for dogs and outdoor fitness led me to open up my own business, KB's K9 Fitness. I decided to make my dream of working with dogs a full-time reality and promise to provide your dog a healthy, safe, and fun experience. Our services include potty breaks, dog walks, dog runs, trail walks, swim time at Paws to Swim (canine only pool) and stroller rides for senior or disabled dogs. We are bonded, insured and licensed to do business in the state of Virginia. We are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, have a clear background check, and we are members of Pet Sitters International. KB's K9 Fitness offers a free mobile app or client portal where you can schedule services, pay invoices, communicate with Fitness Coaches, etc. We look forward to working with you and your dog. We service Mechanicsville, Ashland, Glen Allen and surrounding Richmond communities.

We have a very playful, energetic Lab and on days that we can not walk her, KB has come to our rescue. Our dog is always returned to us a very happy and tired pup after a session with KB!"

I love KB's K9 Fitness! I am at ease going to work for long shifts knowing that my pets will be entertained, fed and taken care of when I cant be there. KB is professional, no-nonsense, and dependable. She clearly knows how to care for pets and wants to do her best by them. More than that, she just LOVES animals - dogs especially. Clementine and Ivy know this, so they are always excited to see her. They love her and respect her - they even listen to her and do whatever she tells them to do! KB and K9 Fitness are trustworthy and passionate about dogs. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely love KB and KB's K9 Fitness! She is great with my dog and he is crazy about her. It is such a comfort to know my dog is well cared for in my absence. KB is well trained and incredibly capable with dogs of all sizes, age and physical levels. It was quite a find to have found someone as trustworthy, reliable and capable as KB. I don't know what we would do without her. Highly recommend!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will send you paperwork (online) to complete prior to our Meet and Greet. We then schedule a free Meet and Greet to meet you and your dog(s). After this initial visit, we can start services as you request. With Covid safety measures in place - we can do the Meet and Greet outside and 6 feet apart.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR
How did you get started doing this type of work?
KB's K9 Fitness is owned and operated by Mechanicsville resident, KB Eastman. KB has worked as a Registered Nurse in the Richmond area for over 25 years. You will often find KB at the local trails running with her dog, Brylie. She has four other dogs (Roscoe, Dexter, Poppy and Bitsy Boo) that she takes on shorter walks or stroller rides as they each have special needs and are unable to run the trails. It was out of this love of being with dogs and outdoor fitness, that KB's K9 Fitness was unleashed. KB decided to make her dream of working with dogs a full-time reality and promises to provide your dog a healthy, safe, and fun experience.
