FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most projects are priced based on the overall scope of work rather than strictly hourly. My general pricing structure starts at a $125 minimum service charge, which covers the first hour on site. After that, labor is typically $75/hour plus materials. Larger or more involved projects are often quoted at a flat or full-day rate depending on complexity, prep work, travel, and project duration. I always try to be upfront and transparent with pricing before work begins so there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by discussing the project details, photos, measurements, or scheduling a walkthrough if needed. Once I understand the scope, I provide a clear estimate and timeline. After approval, I coordinate scheduling, materials, and project expectations ahead of time. Communication is a big part of my business. I keep customers updated throughout the process and make sure the work area is left clean and respected when the job is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience in operations, customer service, project coordination, and hands-on problem solving. I also have an A.A.S. degree in Architectural and Industrial Design, which gave me a strong foundation in construction concepts, drafting, measurements, materials, design, and problem solving. My handyman experience has been built through years of home and restaurant repairs, renovations, installations, troubleshooting, and ongoing real-world project work. I continuously research proper methods, materials, and best practices to ensure work is completed professionally and built to last.
