Think better...live better. Sometimes we just need a mental alignment.
That is, using basic techniques and strategies from Behavior Analysis, Neuroscience, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychology, Emotional Intelligence and a few others, we can get ourselves out of depression and anxiety - but we need help in doing so. My specialty is cognitive behavior; what do we DO with our thoughts, what behavior can we change, and what is the result we want - these are the focus of my work.
When it comes to mental health, we need to add an additional level. Nothing wrong with therapy, but some people need an intermediary step - that's my goal. I want to give people an opportunity to learn more about efficient thought processes that lead to better performance.
I spend extra effort in working with teens - an underserved population. I'm particularly proud of my work with a teen in the UK for over a year, completely administered via FB Messenger. Working with adolescents at their level is extremely important to me. Because of my international work, I was awarded Adolescent Behavior Analyst of the Year by Global Health and Pharma in 2023 and 2024.
I've been steadily adding to my skill set with an MBA in Organizational Behavior and completed post-grad studies in a variety of psychology-based programs. I'm also a Certified Marriage Educator from the National Marriage Center. As of 2018 I became a Behavior Analyst (Clemson University) and just completed a Cognitive Behavior Therapy program with the Beck Institute.
What's most important when helping others in relationships/marriages is that we've been happily married for 30 years. I can honestly say we never fight - yes, that's possible. We've created "The Rules" which has helped and will help many relationships.
The reality is you can't fix it if you don't address it. Change takes action and I guarantee your life will improve IF you use the tools that I give you. But you gotta start somewhere.
