About
Much of my magic is original and well suited to a family audience. I now do a virtual magic show on Zoom. This kind of show can be more intimate then a live performance, and less expensive. My magic is age specific, often more sophisticated for adult audiences. The birthday party can have a lot of participation if each kid has a computer or groups of kids are at one screen. For adult audiences, I use selected members of the audience (maybe the boss or the person to be honored) in comedic cabaret plots. I have a number of magical events often performed to appropriate music that features amazing and visual magic. Smaller cabaret performances feature considerable interaction between the magician and audience members. I have a segment of Chinese magic that folks find fascinating. My magic works well in cabaret shows, industrial shows and banquets, and house parties or birthday parties for adults or family audiences. Special magic maybe requested for your even: mind reading, precognition. For example the birthday person reads someone's mind or a ghost does some magic for us.
I like creating my own magic often for a given audience, and performing it. I get to meet folks that I perform for and my performance is more intimate with the audience. Call me and tell me what you want.

This guy was amazing. We had so much fun and his magic was the best. I had him perform at my Christmas party this year, and plan on having him back again. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't hire him. And the price is great as well.

10 STARS...Lawrence was great. The party we hosted included kids from 1 year old up to 56 years old. Everyone truly enjoy him. Lawrence had us trying to figure how HOW DID HE DO THAT? We will hire him for our next party. GREAT MAGIC SHOW.

Lawrence was a pleasure to work with and he was able to interact with our guests and entertain with his magic in a crowded private New Years Eve house party.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For small parties that are rather near to where I live I generally charge $150. Walk around magic is typically $150 for the first hour followed by $100 for each hour there after. For smaller parties that are 100 miles from home I suggest $300. Magic for a larger audience and having 200 miles of travel can be $400 or more depending on whether I must spend the night.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to talk to the new customer by telephone, identify important parameters and restrains for the show and verify that certain routines are appropriate, and identify special requests. For a birthday party, with the client's permission, I "manifest the presence of a friendly Ghost" who does magic and wishes the birthday person (child or adult) a happy birthday. Some folks do not want this fantasy so I do something else. For younger kids I do the "Miser's Dream" but instead of find money behind their ears, I find Oreo cookies, fill a big bag and pour it into a bowl for the audience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a magician for over twenty years while I have also completed a career as a Reach Scientist in Public Health for New York. I have PhD in Mathematics, MA in Biostatistics, and an MpH specializing in Epidemiology, I have taught at the college level for well in excess of twenty years. I have good speaking and organization skills.
