Thank you all so much for cleaning our roof and driveway/side walk. Everything looks great and you all were so awesome to work with. Definitely appreciated the extra follow up post project to share findings we should be alerted about.Apr 13, 2019VerifiedPanoramic Clean's reply
Thanks for the great review Nichole!
Just a great experience. Exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at the immediate results. Looked almost like a new roof. I also liked the attention to detail like cleaning the front walkway and gutters. A really great job at a good price. I will definitely recommend to others.Oct 7, 2018VerifiedPanoramic Clean's reply
Thanks David! I enjoyed meeting you and talking with you. I appreciate the job and the knowledge you shared with me! Thanks!
I would recommend Troy Layman of Panoramic Clean for anyone who needs their roof cleaned or house power washed. He responds right away to your emails and explains his cleaning techniques in great detail. You can tell by his professionalism, that he is eager to earn your business and do it right. He provides video and pictures of the jobs that he has done. A trustworthy man whom I would give two thumbs up!Nov 18, 2017VerifiedPanoramic Clean's reply
Thank you so much for the glowing, positive review Jennifer! I am always happy to share my knowledge. Most people have limited knowledge of the roof and exterior cleaning industry so education is the key to success! Most people don't know the reasons why some processes are helpful and some are harmful to their homes, so even if I don't land a job, I can sleep well knowing customers have the knowledge to protect themselves and their homes from companies that may cut corners at the homeowners expense! I look forward to working with you again Jennifer!
Troy and Jessica did a good job cleaning my roof and house. Troy explained the process they use thoroughly and was very knowledgeable. Jessica is a super nice lady who maintained contact throughout the process. I would definitely use Panoramic Clean again in the future. Thanks for a good experience!May 13, 2016VerifiedPanoramic Clean's reply
Thank you Pam! When I saw the distinctive style of your roof my first thought was "Oh My Goodness! This is going to be an interesting challenge!" :0) I still tell customers to this day about your roof. It is beautiful, unique, and reminds me of a 'Burr Puzzle'.
I tell you what. There are people out there trying to pull one over on you and then there are people like Troy. This guy went above and beyond the roof cleaning and soft cleaning he performed. First he explained what he was going to do. Then he cleaned the roof and noticed some concerns. He helped me find possible contractors and recommended action from his past expereince. We agreed to soft clean the house and then proceeded to clean our deck and fencing as well. this guy was amazing. He and his wife were very professional and friendly. They made my wife feel very comfortable and confident that they would do the job. The house was covered with mildew and moss. And now its all gone. The house looks like it got a a new paint job! Awesome job guys!Nov 17, 2018VerifiedPanoramic Clean's reply
WOW Joe, thanks for the awesome review! I'm at a loss for words. We hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, and thanks again!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do have a standard pricing system in place for my work which I'd be happy to discuss with you directly. I clean roofs at a set rate per 100 square feet (or as roofers call a 'square'). Prices go up a little for steeper roofs or more complicated roofs and roof type (wood shake shingles are more difficult, require more time and usually a second visit, versus a simple asphalt or metal roof for example). I have preset base prices for cleaning home exteriors based on the square footage of the home. Pricing for sidewalks is per linear foot, and driveways are per linear foot by width (1 car wide, 2 cars wide etc.). Fences are billed per section and decks are billed by type and size. In all cases severely stained projects may cost a more due to the increased amount of time, effort and extra cleaning products required.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will discuss the job over the phone or via e-mail, and then come out and view the job to give a final price after measuring the roof or exterior cleaning job to give you an accurate quote and calculate any discounts. If the price is accepted I will add your work to my schedule and notify you prior to coming out to complete your job. I will photograph any existing damage around the property and also photograph the landscaping around the job and review with you prior to starting the work. After the work is complete I will clean up the job site, take 'after' photos and walk around the site with you to review the work for final approval.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Bottom line up front: I cleaned my first roof in 2007, and started cleaning using the Soft Washing process AC Lockyer perfected years ago. I currently have certifications in AC's classes for 'assistant tech' and 'lead tech' which consists of 11 classes and testing, both written and hands on. My cleaning process aims for a 100% kill on the organisms damaging your roof and home, which gives a clean lasting 4-6 times longer than pressure washing. AC Lockyer's companies cleaned in excess of 80,000 roofs and homes, so any mistake that could be made was made by his company, and that knowledge was passed down to me in my training. Roof stains started in the late 1980's because the manufacturers switched products and started using limestone as a shingle filler, and shortly after the roof stain problem literally blossomed. I use a system called "Soft Washing" which started in the early 1990's by AC Lockyer. AC was a horticulturist at the time and knew these stains were caused by an organism called Gloeocapsa Magma (a cynobacteria), algae, mold, mildew, moss and lichen. As a horticulturist, AC knew these infestations could be treated on plants with compatible cleaning chemicals, and started working on a way to clean these organisms off of roofs without using a pressure washer, which was the common method of the time. AC's process evolved into a multi-million dollar business that has been emulated across the world. AC has shifted his focus to building equipment and training Soft Washing professionals through multiple classes each year.
