Phylesha is amazing! I have used other big name tax service providers in the past and have felt like I was getting taken advantage of. I have very little tax knowledge. Not only did Phylesha help me me save THOUSANDS on my taxes this year, she helped me learn more about how to do my taxes and what I can put on my return to save money. She showed me and taught me things this big name company never have! And she is very professional, kind and has great communication skills. Phylesha, from Dreamer Financial Services, is quite knowledgeable of the Federal and State tax laws. She helped me guide some of my part-time employees through filling out W-4 and VA-4 tax forms. She showed me how to get some of my employees to think about their future earnings from their other jobs and decide if extra withholds were needed. Phylesha also gave me relevant tax advice for my personal taxes and tax advice to share with my employees. Her response time to all of my questions was fast. "Transparency". My pricing is readily available for review. See website.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone consultation is the first step where we discuss expectations and general information (15 minutes). Then, there is a client intake form which outlines the clients income situations. Afterwards, we decide if we want to move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed over 100 hours of income tax school which affords me the opportunity to prepare taxes all over the USA. I am an Annual Filing Season Program recipient listed in the IRS directory of tax professionals. I am a Registered Tax Return Preparer for the state of Maryland. And, I have completed additional requirements for the state of New York. Currently, I am a student to acquire my EA designation.
