Amanda did a fantastic job as our wedding coordinator. We planned a July Richmond wedding from DC and couldn’t have done it without her. She attended every walk-through and meeting that we had leading up to the day. When I changed venue locations a few months before the wedding she happily went along with my wishes. She always asked the right questions, offered advice and recommendations in addition to being a kind, level-headed person to be around. Amanda truly went above and beyond happily cutting our cake to save us from a catering charge of $1 per slice, retrieving flowers from a fountain to keep our security deposit, nudging guests in the right direction, keeping special items from the reception safe, and making sure my grandmothers were happy. She did a great job orchestrating the rehearsal, setting up the decorations at the reception site as well as moving flowers from the ceremony to the reception. Amanda also rescued the tablecloths that I purchased for the reception and even returned the rented tables so that we could enjoy our honeymoon without worry of a late charge. She did an excellent job planning out our timeline and truly worked the entire weekend for us. All of the little things I was worried about she was able to smooth over and take care of without any problems. I was able to enjoy my wedding day because she was running around in the background checking on things and thinking 3 steps ahead of me. My only regret is that I wish I had found her sooner in the planning process. It would have saved me from months of stress. I cannot recommend her enough.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I have a base price for each plan. Things vary if hotel is involved or if they want to customize their plan.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I first really try to get to know a little about a new client and their future spouse. A great working relationship is very important!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Enrolled in a wedding planning certification class. Have worked with other wedding coordinators in addition to running my own business for 2 years.
