- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our typical dispatch fee is $99 for most jobs. We do waive that for first time Thumbtack customers if they choose to go through with repairs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A Customer Service Representative will contact you to review your service needs and timing. Once that is completed, our Dispatcher will follow up with the scheduled time and the name of the team member who will be assisting you. When the team member arrives at your location, they will fully assess what needs to be done and provide you with a quote before any work is started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our Plumbers and HVAC Technicians participate in weekly trainings every Friday. These sessions range from customer interaction training to technical skill development. In addition, we hold a three-day comprehensive training event each year.
