Excellent Service! We received same-day service. Not only was the technician able to immediately diagnose the problem, he had the parts needed to repair it same day. He thoroughly explained the problem to my husband and even provided some added pointers and information at the end of the job. Quick and reliable service! Initial road bump on pricing. It is per unit, each intake incurs additional cost, doesn't include brushing or sanitizing, or dryer vent. Fair reminder that its good to educate yourself and ask questions prior to scheduling any services and specialists. Not faulting company, just sharing so you can avoid the road bump. The vacuum only cleaning was done in about 1.5 hour for a 2 unit 3,000 sqft house, which seemed pretty quick to me (not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing). Afterwards, the technician called out mold through out vents and the unit by visual confirmation, but did not perform any tests to confirm. This made sense as the family had started coughing recently after turning on the humidifier (source of mold), so we went ahead and did the treatment (spray solution applied at intake point). I was a little upset he did not call this out earlier in the process, but only at the end, and here is why.... He said typically, if he sees the mold in one or two places, he just cleans it without charging or saying anything, so thats why he waited to have inspected the whole system before deciding. This bothered me because if you see any mold (like he did in the first few minutes of walking in the house and inspecting a few vents), you should inform the homeowner who is living in it, regardless of the level of severity, and give them a heads up instead of waiting until the end where you may even forget to do so. Also he left with the humidifer still covered in mold, so the whole effort felt more like checking off boxes then a genuine desire to deliver high quality service. Maybe thats not in scope for the service, so ok, I'll clean it my self... no sense having treated vents if the source of mold is unchanged. While the sanitizer was being applied by the fan, he took the time to go back and brush some of the vents, since I had expressed concerns on having a vacuum only cleaning. I definitely appreciated this, though the battle of getting here wasn't an ideal experience. Nick said we did not need a deep cleaning, and that brushing was only done during deep cleaning - maybe my own ignorance here, but I found that to be a surprise, but am appreciative that after I mentioned it a few times he did make an attempt. Overall, Nick probably delivered a superior service than the one I had initially called them for, but the process of getting there was a verbal struggle and left me questioning what the level of service really was vs what was just lip service. I acknowledge it may be because of my own ignorance or expectations, so again, would encourage folks to understand what they are getting ahead of time, and I fully anticipate the company to respond to the review saying such (i.e. I had high expectations, or they gave me the deep clean, aka brushing some vents at the standard clean price). If you're wondering why I gave 4 stars here's is why: > 1 star for prompt service (scheduling fast/early and showing up on time is important), > 1 star for trying to work through and negotiate things in a manner where the customer is satisfied > 1 star benefit of the doubt -- the team took time to try and "educate me" about things and explain how the service was above and beyond. Outside of a gut feeling, no way for me to say otherwise. This may be my first cleaning in this house, but I've had others in prior/smaller homes, and plenty of experience with technicians and home care specialists who felt more forthcomming.
