I have been involved with the education profession for over 20 years. I have a degree in Liberal Studies. This allows me to teach English, Math, Science, and History. I have also been a math specialists with an independent company hired through the state. My role was to coordinate with administration and teachers to improve SOL scores using technology and individual assessments. I have a strong ability to recognize weaknesses and accomodate individual needs.
I love when I am working with a student and I see the light come on. I know that knowledge is useless without the communication skills to teach it and I love to hear, "That is so easy! Why didn't I understand this before now?"
