- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1 - fill out a client intake form on found on my website. Step 2 - Meet on a video call to discuss your goals, limitations, possible obstacles, and how we can best work together to avoid roadblocks. Steps 1 &2 are totally FREE Step 3 - Decide which program is best for you. Step 4 - I will enroll you in TrueCoach (no charge to you), an app on which you will receive your customized workouts. You will signup for MyFitnessPal; will log your daily food intake and share it with me. We will communicate through the TrueCoach app, which gives you access to me virtually 24/7 for any discussions that will come up along the way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the Fitness Industry for over 25 years. I have a degree in Physical Education from Radford University. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. I am a Master Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association, part of an elite group of only 250 coaches in the United States. I have competed in powerlifting at the national level. Squatting 600lbs in competition, which at the time, placed me in the top 10 in the USA in my age and weight class. I have also competed in bodybuilding. Dieting from 215lbs to step on stage at a very lean 160lbs. I know what it is like to be under the bar and I know what it's like to dial in my diet to look my absolute best.
