When you enroll your dog in one of our programs, your dog will learn to: stop pulling on the leash, no longer jump on people, end their "selective hearing," and so much more! We offer both private lessons in your home and day training options. Puppy programs are also available.
My passion for dog training came during my career as a law enforcement officer. With over a decade of experience assisting K-9 handlers and training in Search and Rescue, I have the rewarding experience of having helped many owners lessen their frustrations and anxiety by improving their dog’s behavior.

Laura was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! After my dog Kora was attacked a few months ago, she became very fearful and reactive toward other dogs. With Laura’s help, Kora can now walk around our neighborhood and in the community with no issues at all—such a huge transformation!! She’s even much calmer around our neighbor’s dog now.
Kora is calmer, more relaxed, and less anxious since finishing training—and she actually love training! I only wish we had started sooner. Highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for real results and a trainer who truly cares!

We have a 3 year old miniature golden doodle. Sadie is a wonderful girl and is a huge part of our lives. When she was a puppy we almost lost her due to pneumonia and she just was not able to be around other people or dogs when she was younger. We cannot say enough about Laura and Absolute Angel DogTraining. Sadie is a different dog. She is much more confident around others and she knows how to interact with others when they come to our home. What impressed us the most is just how much Laura cares for her students and the owners. Sadie just loved her and it showed with each session. We give Laura and Absolute Angel our highest recommendation!

It is said that, ‘they don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care’. Laura from Absolute Angel DogTraining showed how much she cared the moment she met my 8 yr old CB Staffy, Huck. Huck was a good dog with some rough edges and fell for Laura immediately. Laura met Huck and I at our training level incorporating some of my training language with hers. I am so pleased with the lessons she presented, her kind critiques to improve my technique and Huck’s progress. Laura is knowledgeable in dog handling and her caring and professional demeanor make her training regimen fun for pups and owners too. I highly recommend her services.

We would leave Laura 10 stars if we could! She is a consummate professional in every way: her training, attitude, patience, communication, respect, and on-time arrival.
Absolute Angel DogTraining, under Laura's leadership, offers 3 different training programs, depending on one's needs. We opted for the weekly at-home visits for our miniature poodle, Cutler.
Cutler, an 8-month old puppy, needed to learn the basics - sit, stay, off, down, drop-it, touch, come, and a version of heel. My husband and I needed to learn the language that would keep that training in place while understanding how dogs think and what makes them more likely to respond. Between Laura's visits, we used her clear, concise methods to teach Cutler all of the things we wanted him to know.
Laura came prepared with print-outs, sent videos, and provided us with tracking tools. She demonstrated training methods and walked us through carrying them forward between sessions.
Now, Cutler doesn't jump on visitors, he comes/sits/stays on our command, drops items we don't want in his mouth, and immediately gets off of furniture we don't want him to jump on. We no longer have to worry that Cutler will run into danger or become an uncontrolled nuisance when we travel or take him out of his home environment.

My small Chihuahua mix Nala had anxiety towards strangers and big dogs as well as some behavioral issues. From the minute I contacted Absolute Angel DogTraining I felt I was in great hands. Laura met one on one with me and my dog to see the issues, use her knowledge to inform me and recommended the Reactive Rover Training Program. She worked week in and week out providing me with tons of resources about reactivity in dogs and guides on how to curb these behaviors best in my dog. This program not only made my dog better in social settings for myself, it made them calmer, more confident and an overall happier dog that I can truly connect with. I cannot thank Laura enough for the dedication she gave to me and my dog. She even worked around my work/life schedule. She is very personal and I would recommend Absolute Angel DogTraining to anyone looking to help their dogs behavior/training!
