We are really pleased with our new patio! Mix Family landscaping gave us a fair quote, were transparent every step of the way, and did what they said they were going to do. I was also grateful that they gave a recommendation to bury some ugly drain extenders and add pop-up drains to elevate the space even more. I wouldn’t have thought of this so I was so glad when they offered to include that work into the estimate. The final product is beautiful and functional. Thank you so much!

Hired Brandon to do some mulching and edging. He was responsive, punctual, and professional. I couldn't have been happier with the work. As for the value, I did find someone that was willing to do the work for less, but cheaper isn't always better. Like they said, you get what you paid for. 5 stars.

I originally contacted Mix Family Landscapes to remove about a 500 sq ft area of gravel driveway in my front yard, add soil and grass seed. Brandon quoted me a great price on grading and seeding my entire front yard as well, which was in bad need of some TLC too. This was something I wanted to eventually do anyway, so I hired them for the whole job. Brandon and his crew member arrived early in the morning and knocked out the job very quickly with pretty much no interruptions to my day working from home. The thing that really stood out to me is that they found out they needed more soil than originally estimated in the old gravel driveway area, but did not charge me for the extra soil and trip they needed to make to get it. That is really appreciated, especially in today’s world where everything is super expensive. The entire experience was quick and easy for someone who has never had work done on the lawn. We even had some great conversation about some future ideas for my landscaping. Only time, will tell on the seeding job, but it looks great and 100% better than before, even just being mostly dirt and straw today. I’ll definitely be hiring Mix Family Landscapes for my outdoor needs.

Brandon and the crew worked very hard in high heat and created a beautiful walk and stone border for our house. Brandon explained everything they were doing. He also added some really nice shrubs that were the cherry on top of this project. He has great ideas on land/hardscaping. If you are considering outdoor projects or just want to spruce up your yard you should call Mix Family Landscaping for an estimate. You will not be disappointed.

Brandon and his crew have done several projects for us. First, they did a concrete paver overlay of our very tired concrete back patio. He was very open to my ideas during the planning phase and had good advice based on his experience. We are thrilled with the final product!
They then did a rehab of the garden beds around our 20+ year old house. I really appreciated Brandon's willingness to work within our budget and was amazed that many of the shrubs that looked as if they weren't worth saving are now doing well in their new locations. We had hoped to plant a crape myrtle as a focal point in the front bed, but given the blight that is going around, Brandon suggested a Japanese maple instead. We are looking forward to seeing it go through the succession of seasons, as it is supposed to have spectacular color in the spring as well as the fall.
We are so glad we found Mix Family Landscapes on Thumbtack and look forward to continuing to work with Brandon and his crew in the future.
