FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The work process begins with an estimate. Our estimates are free and are able to have an estimator sometimes same day, per request, depending on your location. Upon estimating the driveway we determine what should be done to improve cosmetic appearance and longevity of the driveway. We will work up some figures and then have your estimate to you via email by the end of the day. Upon hiring, we require a signed contract and a $300.00 deposit, no matter the price of the job. We then provide you with a telephonic conference for any questions that you may have prior to starting the work. Then we will discuss some potential dates to have on our board. We will then pencil you in on a tentative date and plan to complete the work that day, weather permitting. On work day, we arrive early typically between 7-9am, depending on traffic. We prep the job accordingly and begin the work process. We leave a clean work space during and after completing the job. Balance is due upon completion, unless discussed otherwise. We gave you a brochure packet on information about your new driveway and also follow up with you in a 60-90 days to see how you like and to schedule a sealcoating to ensure warrantee.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
PaveCo is a family owned company that started in Houston, Texas back in 1958. It was the owner's father who started it and now he and his son are carrying on the legacy and trait.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Of course PaveCo would love to earn your business, however, we do want what is best for our customers. We try to keep our prices competitive, but for the quality job we provide and state of art equipment, we are not always the least expensive company in the region. With that being said, I recommend doing research on the company you are hiring. Ask for references, a license number, etc. As for material, make sure they are using oil based/petroleum sealer AKA "Gilsonite Equinox Sealer". As any other seal coating product is diluted with water and other additives and is detrimental to the driveway.
