I just took a lesson with Mike. It was my first golf lesson ever. I have been golfing for a while but never learned the right way. Mike made me feel very at ease and immediately improved my stroke. A really awesome thing he does is records the lessons and sends you a Dropbox link with the videos so you can reference them. I’ll be going back to Mike for at least 5 more lessons. Thanks Mike!Dec 29, 2019Verified
My first lesson was very worthwhile, quite different in a good way from golf lessons I had years ago. He started with the basics, really good foundational work. The lesson left me with the idea that I might really learn to play this game. The video clips that he took during the lesson afre very valuable to me for practicing and remembering what I learned.May 7, 2018Verified
Today was my first lesson with Mike and it was outstanding. His easy way of explaining and demonstrating proper mechanics of the golf swing helps build confidence. We focused on wedges, pitching, and putting and he showed how to take stress out of my swing through pendulum motion of the club. He also helped with squaring the club, targeting areas prior to golf shot, and follow through. I look forward to more lessons and significant improvements in my game.Jun 5, 2017Verified
Mike was a great coach for someone who is just starting their golf game. Very patient and great techniques so you start off with good habits. Each swing, he makes sure to fix all parts and lists out the different pointers to go through when you approach. Definitely be taking a lesson with Mike again!Mar 7, 2017Verified
Mike provided intermediate golf lessons, using mainly irons, focusing on proper stance and swing mechanics. Very good teaching style, which has improved my swing noticeably. The only drawback that keeps this from being a 5-star rating is that the late start time after the sun had set limited us to the driving range and allowed only cursory putting, chipping and pitching lessons.Oct 2, 2016
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$100 for an introductory lesson for 1 hour. Regular price is $120 per hour and a 5 hour package is $500. I also provide 90 minute group lessons with your spouse, significant other, friend, or child. I also provide playing lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I assess a student's putting, chipping and swinging abilities and learn about their knowledge of the game. I find out their desires and give them a plan on how to achieve their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been playing and coaching golf for a combined 40 years. I have played with and watched the best players of the past generation. I use a combination of knowledge, repetition, communication, and fun with my students to help them better understand the game, enjoy the game to its fullest, and reach their desired level and beyond.
