Coach Mike is a terrific golf coach and well worth the investment. What I appreciated with Mike is his dedication & focus to my individual game during each lesson. I initially came to Mike with some major swing flaws that really started to impact my game, score, mood, etc. After just five lessons I improved my overall game, elevated my golf IQ and now look at the each shot in a completely different lens than before. Above all I really improved the biggest issue that prompted me to book coach Mike in the first place. Whether you're picking up a club for the first time or a seasoned scratch golfer I would recommend Coach Mike V.

Mike is a great teacher!! My daughter has never picked up a club and she left with a better swing than me ( 13 handicap) 😂. He teaches you from the cup out and takes videos of you . I give him 5 stars . Money well spent and gives you a solid 90 minute lesson. I may have to give him 4 stars if my daughter beats me in our annual Myrtle beach vacation mini golf tournament. She is putting with confidence. Highly recommend mike👍

Through four lessons thus far, I've found Mike's direction to be nothing short of a revelation for my golf game. I showed up to my first lesson considering myself a fair golfer who really just needed help with his driver to move to the next level. Mike's assessments and instruction opened my eyes to the numerous areas my game could stand to improve, and how I could save a a significant number of strokes through different tactical approaches and slight adjustments to my technique. I'm confident I'm now not only gaining more power and accuracy off the tee and with my long irons, but also am developing an effective short game and stronger putting skills. Simply put, after just four lessons, Mike's coaching is making me a more knowledgeable and complete golfer. I'm looking forward to continuing my lessons with Mike, seeing further improvements in my shotmaking ability and watching my scores come down round after round.

Mike is an outstanding golf instructor. If you’re serious about becoming a better golfer, Mike is your guy. It’s also extremely helpful that he sends videos of him explaining things to you after the lesson so you can essentially rewatch and re-learn aspects of the lesson if you want. Mike is the real deal.

Stop your search for a golf instructor right here. I’m fairly new to the sport, but I can’t imagine there are coaches better than Coach Mike. I’ve only taken three lessons, but my game — and my love for it — has improved significantly. Coach Mike assessed my skills in the first lesson and we started building from the ground up. He doesn’t just throw a bunch of information at you and expect you to put it all together. He gives you advice bit by bit and works with you until you get it right. I came into our lessons having only played a full 18 a handful of times (averaged around 115-120 strokes per round), and struggled to make good contact on anything other than tee shots. With continued instruction from Coach Mike, I’m fully confident that I’ll break 100 in no time — and then keep climbing the ladder from there. And I can’t wait! 5-star rating, without a doubt.

INTRO PRIVATE LESSON 90 Min : $250 INTRO GROUP LESSON (2) 90 Minutes: $295 -Excellent one-of-a-kind videos including ultra slow motion. Range balls extra.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Mike assesses a student's putting, chipping and swinging abilities and learns about their knowledge of the game. He discovers their desires and gives them a plan and timeframes on how to achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mike is a PGA Associate, a Certified US Kids Golf Instructor, and PCA Associate. There are rigorous playing ability and written tests that he passed to become a PGA Associate. Has been playing and coaching golf for a combined 40 years playing with and watching the best players of the past generation. Mike has also been very lucky to have had lessons with some of the finest golfing minds and teachers like Lee Trevino and Bob Toski. Mike uses a combination of knowledge, repetition, communication, and fun with his students to help them better understand the game, enjoy the game to its fullest, and reach their desired level and beyond.
