Where do I start...Rolan is an expert at what he does. He really understands the business side of things. He worked with me in constructing our work contract. He was not opposed to including terms that would benefit both of us. He is extremely responsive so you don't have to worry about him getting back to you for your inquiries or questions. I found him on Thumbtack about a week before my event as I decided to hire a videographer at the last minute (after planning for a year), he made himself available, worked with my event planner, work with a tight schedule and showed up ready to work. He definitely is a team player. He provided me with a preview of the highlight video before finalizing it for viewing with my guests of my milestone event. He captured more than I expected and was very professional. My event planner (Eventually Yours Shawn), was very happy with him too that she told me she will add Rolan to her roster of contractors. I definitely will hire him again for my events where I want memories to be captured. You will not go wrong with hiring him. Did I say, he was very professional throughout the entire time. It may been on a short notice, but his work is definitely on time and very polished. Thanks Rolan for adding to my memory. BTW: while filming he is not in your way. I didn't even know he was there because he makes it seamless and blends into the crowd but focused on capturing beautiful moments. Go hire him, but leave some time for me to hire him too. lol

I start by getting to know my client and understanding what best suits them and where they feel most comfortable. I ask a lot of questions upfront so we’re both confident going into the shoot. The more clarity we have on expectations, style, and goals, the smoother everything runs and the better the final result.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education has been hands-on. I’ve learned through real-world experience, and a lot of trial and error. When I want to improve a specific skill, I dedicate my spare time to practicing and refining it until I master it. My mindset is simple: always be better than yesterday.
