- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My general notary work fees are based upon mileage. After hours fees are applied for appointments after 6:00 PM For all real estate documents, I carry a separate insurance policy. All real estate packages for refinancing, seller package, buyer package, etc. is a straight fee of $100 anywhere in the Hampton Roads area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will show up on time. I ask for a clear table or counter in order for the process to go quickly and smoothly. I will answer any questions you may have that are allowed by law. I can not give legal advice. I will need PHOTO ID's for each person that needs to be notarized. For example, a state-issued driver's license, Military ID, or Passport. The notarization process takes about 10-20 minutes, depending on the number of people involved. Having all photo ID's ready will help the process move more quickly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Public Notary I have a clear background screening through the National Notary Association I am certified and educated through the National Notary Association I am a certified Notary Signing Agent through the NNA for real estate closings. I am certified in the Loan Signing System for real estate closings.
