I had a truly awesome experience with Fortress Floors. Elizabeth, was very personable and completely understood my vision. At the end of the estimate appointment, I immediately signed a contract and put down a deposit. The polyurea/polyaspartic pool deck coating was installed within a few days. The team showed up as scheduled with a big team of employees. They got to work right away, and finished the deck installation in one day. The second day was merely for an additional UV topcoat. My only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner. The results were even more spectacular than I could’ve ever imagined! The cost for installation was more than reasonable. I’ve attached a few photos to my review to show the before & after. I think the photos speak for themselves. We will be enjoying this deck for many years to come. Thank you to the entire team at Fortress Floors! By the way, the color I chose is Fortress.

This is one of those things that, having done, I wish I had done years earlier. I had an unfinished garage attached to house via a door. The unfinished garage featured cracked and stained concrete floor, and all kinds of nooks and crannies. I appreciated the space but hated how it looked and it always felt dirty. Spiders and other bugs added to this.Fortress did an amazing job. It feels less dirty and industrial and more showroom now. It looks great!

I hired Fortress Floors of Virginia to handle my garage floorcoating, and I couldnt be happier with the results. I was looking for something more durable than standard epoxyflooring, and their polyurea basecoat system was perfect.They were professional from the start, providing a free in person estimate that was very reasonable. I appreciate them making the trip up to Charlottesville from Powhatan.The one-day installation was great. Lots of color variations to choose from. Everyone that visits my garage now always comments on the flooring. Its made my garage into a nice finished space.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free in-home estimates that are valid for one year. We price based on a cost per square foot and offer discounts for Veterans, Active Duty Military and First Responders.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We answer any questions you might have over the phone and then find a convenient time to set-up an estimate, which usually takes 30-45 minutes. We will take measurements, inspect the project area, review samples and leave you with a written estimate.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential garages, porches, walkways, pool decks. We have also installed our floor system in fire stations, bars/restaurants, warehouse, animal kennels and other industrial spaces.
