Mike is "On the Money" in his service he provided me. Installation of awnings (22') long in the back yard. This awning is replacing gutters along the house. The roofer replaced the roof and Mike replaced the awnings.
I have Mike scheduled to update a hall bathroom. Convert a shower stall with a 6' shower.

This week, Mike traveled to Mount Airy to help my aging, but independent Dad with a list of various projects.
Simple things, like hanging a blind, installing a faucet and a shower head, fixing trip hazards and a more involved issues like a bathroom that needs a few up fits.
Mike arrived as promised ready to work, proper tools in hand. He worked all day.
Most tasks were completed and a few still are pending because they are a little more complicated “phase” projects.
Mike was wonderful to work with- patient and made sure everything was done exactly right.
We look forward to his return to complete the projects in early February.

We hired Mike after a pipe burst in our rental property. We found him to be completely trustworthy and very communicative. He actively sought to keep our costs down, even helping us find a good roofer. He maintained the lawn and facilitated meetings with renters and other contractors. Her was out go-to guy throughout the renovation project and we could not have asked for a better person. Aside from all of that his work was exemplary. He and his team clearly took pride in doing a great job.

Mike was very good at communicating when he was coming to do the job. Even w rain delays, he communicated w me and sent a text the day before. He sent me pictures of issues. He cleaned up the workspace when he was done. Mike is very professional—highly recommend!! Best communicator I’ve ever had in a contractor in this area!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Handyman services range in price from $120-$1,000 depending on the job. Hourly I charge $150 for the first hour and $65 per hour after that. I would rather give an estimate than to charge hourly.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First off I will need your name, phone # and address. Then I will have you answer a few questions about your project. (How tall is the grass?) (How many rooms do you need painted.) Then I will spend a little time doing some research and message you back with a quote. Usually no more than a day or two. Communication is key in making sure duties are performed properly and everyone is happy with the results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been mowing yards and working on houses since I was a kid. My father has been a very successful Contractor on and off since he was fresh out of trade school over 40 years ago. I owe it all to him, he has taught me more than I can ever repay him for. I have easily helped build well over 35 homes and worked on many others. My work with my father included building new homes and remodels in which I did framing, decks, siding, hard wood floors, and almost everything else from the ground up. I've also completely renovated my own home with new electrical, plumbing, sheet rock, insulation, siding, tile work, flooring, windows, concrete work, new doors, trim, heat, & painting.
