At Dotson Canine training we aim to empower the relationship between an owner and their canine companion. We help solve behavioral issues to create a happy life for both the owner and the dog through calm, consistent, leadership. I completed my WA canine training and behaviorist certification in January of 2023 where I completed training to help dogs in all stages of life and will all types of problems. I shadowed my instructor with countless dog training cases before training dogs myself. It is my goal to keep dogs out of shelters and off the euthanasia table. I strive to help dog owners to lead their dogs and be able to solve the issues their dogs may present. I am trained to provide: Puppy training Structured walks Board and trains Adult dog training Bite behavior modification Anxiety behavior modification And many other issues that may be presented.

Didn’t have much hope for my reactive dogs(4 total,jack Russell’s) But on the first session both myself and my dogs were on there way to a much more functional home life. They all responded very well. I was able to to continue with the training by myself to reinforce the easy routine and training I was shown to help my dogs respond in a much needed way .well worth it.excellent experience.

Gabriel worked with dogs in a board and train program. They just returned home and they are so relaxed. He worked with aggression issues and over dog manners. I am very pleased with the results. Now it's up to me to work with them to maintain all the work he has done with them.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained under the WA Training program taught by Will Atherton, a highly successful and informative dog trainer from England. I shadowed Will Atherton for many dog training. I am certified under him to do the training I do and I continue his mission to keep dogs out of shelters and off the euthanasia table.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I adopted my dog Pippin he was extremely reactive, pulled terribly, and nibbles on people constantly. I worked hard to train him and through all of my studying I grew a love for training dogs. I then studied more and entered into a certification program where my love grew even more.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Bite cases, puppy selection, leash pulling, jumping, potty training, anxiety, reactivity, and more.
