Northstar Builds were referred to me and they called back quickly, and I explained our little project. He was attentive, verified his understanding and suggested details in execution. The proposal was prompt and complete with details for each task. We accepted the bid and he started within days. I watched him unpack to bring his tools to the work area and was very impressed how all his tools were boxed and stored in his truck. Only a proud Craftsmen handles his tools with such care. A very good sign for me. And his workmanship followed suite. Deliberate, focused and professional on the smallest detail and the planning out, prep and execution. I was again impressed. We had some poor material he had to deal with and we chatted it out. Very open, honest and fair both to me and himself. I appreciated this chap more as the project went on. At the end him did a steller job on some old wood. And repair work was outstanding. His price was reasonable and he workmanship exceeded our expectations. He cared for our home as much was we do in his neat approach to the jobs and exceptional cleanup when he was done. We are listing more projects on a daily basis. We are thrilled to have found Tyler for our home improvement projects. What started as the installation of a simple screen door on our porch (with which he did a stellar job) has morphed into a sorely needed bathroom renovation. We are just getting started with the project but he has amazed us with his choice of tiles for both the floor and shower that is a perfect match to the already purchased shower wall tile. We could not have done better ourselves and we just wanted to alert people to this terrific contractor and his crew! Personable, great to work with, always on time, and an abundance of talent. We will post photos of the finished bathroom project but in the meantime we wanted to give Tyler the five stars he deserves for the porch door (which was flawlessly installed including a thorough clean up afterwards) and all the work he has done so far on the bathroom planning.NorthStar Builds is a true find!
