Hired them to install laminate flooring. They did a very good job. Work performed was outstanding and the floors look great. I was so pleased with their work, I hired them again to paint my rooms. They perform nothing but Five Star work!!!

Mark Kinser is a true professional who understands the meaning of customer service. He came to our assistance after our roofing shingles were torn off by a powerful nor’easter in March 2018. Mark immediately assessed the damage and offered a verbal repair estimate fully recognizing the need to cover the roof before the arrival of approaching inclement weather. That evening he followed the verbal offer with an email confirmation contract including material needs, labor costs and appointment date/time for the next available weather window. At the appointed time, Mark arrived with his assistant, Everett, and all the necessary tools and ladders carefully scaling our three story home in near freezing temperatures. They not only completed the job in the estimated time, but also took numerous photos of the wind damage and repaired sections for our review and records. Mark also provided an unsolicited assessment of the remaining life of the original shingles with a view toward eventual roof replacement. We are truly grateful for the responsive and upstanding services of American Quality Construction especially in our critical time of need.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We work extremely hard for our customers and make sure we always deliver a quality product for an honest price. Our price includes 2 men, a truck full of tools and over 30 years of experience. In addition, we are Class B licensed by VA DPOR, and carry workers compensation and general liability insurance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take them by the hand and lead each customer thru the process of making their dreams a reality. We have design capability software to connections for financing if needed. No dream is too difficult for us to achieve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in engineering from Va Tech. I have been in business for over 30 years in residential and commercial construction. Our projects have been from simple handyman jobs, residential additions, large multifamily, commercial offices, and hospitality projects. I have experienced all of the bumps, bruises and kicks in the knees from A to Z so our clients will not have to endure them. No job is too small or or too large.
