- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will proofread for $1.00 per page or more depending upon the source document. I will transcribe a recording for $1.50 per minute of recording length or more depending upon the quality of the recording. I will edit for $2.50 or more per page depending upon the source document. In all cases, I would want to examine the input document or recording before quoting a firm price.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
"Quality, Speed, Price -- Pick any two" generally applies, but I only accept assignments with a completion date far enough into the future so that I am under no pressure to get the job done on time. This means that even though I would like to work for you, give you good results, and get your money, if you are in a rush for results you should look elsewhere. I only want to produce quality, and I cannot if I am rushed.
