FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
On average clients spend $50/session. If a client wants a customized fitness plan in addition, this costs $75/month.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, my certification requires continuing education of nutrition and exercise every two years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A lot of people ask me why I do personal training. First, I am very passionate about fitness and believe that staying healthy through proper exercise and nutrition can help you lead a longer, more-fulfilling life. Exercise has been shown to improve confidence and I have personally become a happier, more-energetic person by embracing an active and healthy lifestyle. Helping others grasp that same feeling is incredibly rewarding. Second, I have been described as a strong motivator and a determined individual. Before I started Kevs Gym, I was working out with a friend and she said, you know you are really good at this, you should get certified and try to start up a business. I took her advice, and here we are! The last point may get kind of deep and philosophical, but hear me out. I think we all have a certain purpose in life. For me, I think that purpose is to do good and to help others move forward and progress. Life is a long journey, and I think experiencing it with a healthy mind and body can make you and those around you better people. If I can impact just one person through health education and fitness and make their life better, then I consider Kevs Gym a success. Like throwing a stone into a lake, one small act can have a ripple effect that can make a big difference in our community.
