Introduction: Having been in the industry for 20 years there are many things I have learned which set apart the good contractors from all the others. These experiences have become the core values of my business. Being honest especially when its not convenient, doing the best job possible, solving for the need a client has, executing on time and on budget and focusing on the long term relationship. At Waypoint Construction we believe home ownership is a journey, one where situations and needs change over the years. Whether its a small repair or a new home, Waypoint is here to help navigate you through those changes.

We had a great experience working with Brad on our multi-bath remodel. He was a great advocate and resource throughout the design process even though the construction wasn't guaranteed to him. Our Architect enjoyed working with him and remarked it was the best experience he'd had working with a Contractor. Very knowledgable and experienced. He was able to meet our budget and exceeded our expectations with the timeline. We are very impressed with his professionalism and that of his subs. We will definitely be hiring him again!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

As an independent contractor having almost 2 decades of experience building and managing construction projects of all sizes, I bring experience without all the overhead. My prices are competitive and my services range from small projects to new home construction. My goal is to give you an honest opinion of the budget and scope of a project upfront so you as the homeowner can decide what is important for you to do. I will work with you to custom tailor a project that fits your budget, scope and timeline.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The typical process starts with a meeting, either in person or through other means such as Zoom, Facetime, or an old fashioned phone call. The initial meeting is to establish the scope of work and a working budget. At the end of that meeting we will decide if it makes sense to continue the relationship with a follow up appointment or not. There is never any pressure. One of the critical boxes we will check in the first meeting is whether an architect will need to be involved in the project or not. Typically we can answer that question based on whether or not we will need a permit or not. I have several independent architects I work work with or you can seek out your own. It's all about what is most convenient for you.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have almost 20 years experience in construction. I spent 8 years running the construction for a design build company in the Metro DC area. IN 2010 i received my masters degree in Construction Management from Georgetown University. In 2015 I was recognized as Top 40 under 40 for residential construction and remodeling in the country.
