FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have complete transparency all purchase orders are available at their request will include all pricing and a copy of the receipts. I will stick to the desired budget and always convey any problems along the way. More details will be discussed openly. No added work will be done by the designer without consent. Costs and discounts are shared no suprised with me. Call it good business standards or the understanding that if I was the client I would want the same treatment that I give professionally.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
STEP 1. Listen to their ideas on a phone or Zoom meeting Its a give and take for each party to learn. If the potential clients wants to begin after 5 days or less after that introductory call they will receive a discount on my design time of $ 20. Per hour .The offer will only be available til Jan 1, 2021. It is a savings of $ 20.00 off my regular hourly cost of $150 per hour. I will explain all of this clearly during in the first meeting by phone or Zoom. In the event the individual is not going to work with me. The first call will be free of charge. STEP 2. I will write a proposal with cost estimates included for the client to review. Changes can be made at this point to add or remove something. STEP 3. The agreed upon proposal becomes an agreement signed by the client and the Designer, and a time line is established for the project. This process of designer research and follow up review, will continue as the project moves forward, Smaller consultation only work will be set up a little differently. STEP 4. The designer begins the work and schedules a follow up meeting to communicate with the client to show the progress of the work. The client is free to suggest their reaction to whatever is discussed . The Designer will be me, Barbara Meyer and I will be available to answer questions and make revisions during the process. STEP 5 project is completed and the client of thrilled!
