Buky was amazing! She was my agent for both the sale of my previous home which was a short sale, and the purchase of my current home, both in 2018.
My first home purchase (Not with Buky) was in 2006. It was a 3br condo, and I paid the pre-market crash inflated price of 450K for it.. Little did I know the market would completely crash less than two years later, leaving me with a huge adjustable rate mortgage for a home that was now worth around $200K.. I had no hope in refinancing into a lower fixed rate mortgage because it was so under water. Fortunately between 2008 and 2018 I faithfully paid my mortgage on time and continued to build my credit. By the time 2018 rolled around I had went from a family of 2 (Me and my son) to a family of 5 by marriage. There was absolutely no way that it was feasible for us to remain in my small condo.
What made matters worse, was that current comps suggested that if I rented it out and moved, the rent I would receive would still not cover my mortgage! Not to mention a pending balloon payment I had upcoming. I honestly felt like I had no options, and my situation really began to take a negative toll on me.
In comes Buky. After explaining my situation she was able to tell me that I actually did in fact have options. She thoroughly explained all of my options, as well as the pros and cons of each. She was very up front and knowledgeable about every facet of the processes involved with both buying and selling homes in a variety of situations (including short sales). She didn't sugar coat anything, but assured me that no matter what, she would be there and guide me through every step of the way. That couldn't have been more true. Buky successfully helped me not only find and purchase the perfect new home for myself and my family, but also helped me short sale my original home. The short selling process has to be one of the most difficult and stressful experience's ever that I would never wish on anyone. Both for the seller and the agent.. She handled it with such grace, poise, and professionalism. There were many times during the process when I was at the point of struggling to hold it together emotionally, and she was always there to provide reassurance and advice that everything would be ok.
I think one of her biggest strengths in addition to her overall knowledge of real estate and attention to detail, is her resourcefulness and her professional network. She literally referred or provided every resource we needed for both the sale and purchase from cleaning people, to short sale negotiators, to photographers for my listing, to home inspectors, to the lender/loan officer! I really just can't put into words how really thankful we are for everything that she did. My family would not be where we are today without her and I will always appreciate her and everything she did for us. She really is just an amazing person in general. I would definitely refer and work with her again.

Buky is by far the best agent I could have ever asked for when I decided to buy my first home! If you are looking for a thorough and intimate process, meaning that not one single detail will be missed, I highly recommend you work with Buky. I honestly felt like she was buying the home with me instead of representing me as her client. She treats your transaction like as if it was her own.
I reached out to Buky when I finally decided to stop renting and paying so much money for such little space. Finding the interest to be a homeowner actually came from Buky educating me on real estate and how much more financially-sound I could be if I would invest my rent money in my own property. So not only did she set me up with the right knowledge of this home-buying process, she put me in touch with the right lender AND the RIGHT HOME!!! I don’t think there’s enough space here to explain my first home purchase but all I can say is that I was so blessed to have Buky representing me every step of the way! Let me tell you: what I thought I wanted… turned out to be far from what I actually needed. Buky walked me through each step, and she created the vision of where I am today. I honestly would not have made this move, IF it was up to me and my mindset at the time. I would have completely overlooked this gem. All because I am such an analyzer to the tee. But I am so grateful that I trusted her vision because I now sit with a nice chunk of equity, even before the pandemic shifted the market value even higher. This home appraised for much more than what I paid. So, I now have my beautiful home that I had remodeled to how I wanted it to be and still with payments less than what I was paying for in rent. Not to mention how great her communication was and how she kept the process moving. I was out of the country after my offer was accepted and not one day was held up; Buky did everything on her end to keep the process going and was very transparent on anything that came up. She went over and beyond my expectations. In the end, I ended up having to put down much less than I expected thanks to her negotiating on my closing costs and I even got some money back in return! And shortly thereafter, she guided me through the process of getting my mortgage reduced to a 15yr mortgage with a record low fixed rate!! I can’t begin to tell you how many blessings came from this process alone. Her knowledge of the market and the process is impeccable, as well as her ability to get to know her client so well that she can effectively deliver on helping you find your ‘forever home’.
She has so much patience and she was so thorough in everything that she said and did. You will learn to appreciate that so much when you decide to buy a home, it was desperately needed.
And it doesn’t end there…Buky has been a great resource for me as a homeowner. She has referred me to some reliable and trustworthy contractors, handymen, and insurance agents. She’s even offered referrals on home security and warranties for my house :)
I am now looking for a 2nd home and the first person I called was Buky. It’s funny because you tend to forget that she has other clients since she gives you her undivided attention when she meets with you, and she never rushes you… You feel spoiled! For that, I will always refer to Buky anyone looking to make a home transaction.
It is her mantra to always “make sure her client is highly satisfied” and you will feel nothing less of that. I am beyond satisfied!
