After living in our home for 35 years and buying a new one in another state, we wanted expert advice to help us sell our home. Laurie was hosting an Open House in the building where I was living. I was curious, so I checked it out. Laurie was happy to chat with me about the real estate market and the wonderful amenities in the building. I mentioned that I was looking to put down roots in the area and would like to purchase something larger. The next day I received several options to look at with her. I ended up buying a new construction townhome in the city where I'm excited to establish roots! Laurie was so helpful talking with the builder. She was there for every inspection and on one occasion noticed wet insulation and sticky studs. I would have never known what to look for. She was a true pro! I purchased during COVID so there were supply chain issues, which was super frustrating. Laurie kept tabs on everything and always kept me apprised of the situation. I have gone on to purchase two more properties with Laurie. She is helping me build my wealth through real estate!If you're looking for a Realtor with loads of experience, honesty and who is also an architect, look no further than to Laurie Perl and The Pearl Team.

We met Deborah Davis of The Pearl Team at an open house, where we instantly vibed. Wed been touring condo buildings all over Arlington for several years with a vague idea to downsize from our home of 25 years, but no solid plan to make it happen. We knew what we wanted, and didnt want, regarding space, location, and amenities, but were daunted by the prospect of such a huge move. Deborah took it from there.She did her research for our sale presented the comps, arranged an estimate for improvements with a contractor, and even sought feedback with other realtors selling similar homes, successfully and unsuccessfully, in our neighborhood. When it became clear that, given the trends on our street, our property would be attractive to a builder, she reached out to more than a dozen, garnered several offers, and negotiated until we had the price wed hoped for. She made sure our contract would allow us to take our time moving, so we could decide what to take with us, and pack with purpose. We didn't even have to do a deep clean when we moved, a huge plus for us!We found our new home while Deborah was out of town and her colleagues, Michelle and Laurie stepped up to handle contract negotiations and the initial inspection and walk-through. They were right there for every detail, logistic, twist, and turn. LK managed everything, kept us informed, and ensured a smooth and efficient process. The entire team is genuine, helpful and responsive. It was all surprisingly easy! They even found us excellent movers.Deborah is super easy to talk to, always responsive and positive, and has a knack for turning our quirky and not always clear direction into quantitative data.She promised the process would be easy, and she was right! We felt like The Pearl Team was always looking out for our interests and made both buying and selling smooth and efficient!

My husband is in the military so we have moved a few times in and out of the NOVA area. I was referred to Deborah Davis of The Pearl Team by a friend. I can't express how grateful we were to have her not only as our Realtor, but now as our friend. Her calmness is her super-power! After putting an offeron a townhome, I wasn't sure if we made the right decision. After a lengthy conversationwith Deborah, she assured me that it was ok to backout of the contract and look for a home that we wouldn't regret purchasing in afew months. She never made us feel bad for backing out and truly wanted what was best for us.Deborah knew we were building our family so she looked at homes and neighborhoods for safety, walkability, and accessibility. While we were looking at homes transparently, Deborah was looking through her scope of practicalityand made sure our high-standards were met. She even referred us to a lender that had our best interest at heart too! We always felt comfortable asking any member of the Pearl Team questions. While we worked with Deborah primarily, Laurie Perl even took the time to show us properties on her birthday when Deborah was exposed to Covid and unable to do so. Truly a Pearl Team effort!Deborah and The Pearl Team are professional, yet personal. The level of trust they provide is outstanding. They adjusted to our level of standards and their attention to detail is off the charts!

I knew I wanted to purchase a home, but I was a first time home buyer and didn't know where to start. Luckily my mom just sold and bought a home with Michelle Stanko of The Pearl Team. She had a wonderful experience, so I gave them a call. I connected with Laurie Perl immediately. I was clueless about where I wanted to live. I work from home, so I could really go anywhere! You'd think that would make it easier, but it made it hard for me to decide where to buy. Laurie was extremely patient and we talked at great lengths about my goals and lifestyle. She really took the time to explain the home-buying process to me. There's a lot more to it than I thought! I enjoy watching HGTV fixer-up shows and thought, I can do that! I'm sure she knew this wasn't in the cards for me, but she showed me a few and she was right. I definitely didn't want to spend my free time fixing up a house. The fact that she took the time to show me meant a lot. She took the time to explain the differences between HOA and Condo fees and that's when the lightbulb went off and I decided I wanted a TH. She sent me listings in my budget every morning at 6am so if something sparked my interest, we could look at it that day. I ended up buying a TH in the perfect location for me. Close to everything, but tucked in a great neighborhood!The best part of working with Laurie Perl of The Pearl Team was that she never pressured me, allowed me time to make a decision and wrote a very creative offer in a tough buyers market. She even walked me through all of the workings of the furnace, A/C and how to change the filters. I called it the crash-course 101 on home ownership with The Pearl Team!
