About this pro
I appreciate the client's need for information, not only for the specific matter brought to me by he or she, but also about what will happen going forward. Assisting people, whether in troubling times or to accomplish a goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? The state bar association requires that a licensed attorney complete each year 8 hours of continuing legal education, 2 of which have to be in the subject of legal ethics. Each year I complete many more hours than required because I want to be aware of the recent changes or modifications to the law or procedure in the various areas of the law in which I practice.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I wanted to be in charge of my own destiny and I wanted a base of knowledge upon which the world in which I live operates. The United States operates on the Rule of Law, whether civil or criminal, whether buying or selling, whether starting or operating a business, going concern, government agency, etc. My father taught me that 'knowledge is power' and I believed an education in the law would provide me the best opportunity to succeed in life.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Personal injury [representing those injured through no faulth of their own], domestic relations [all issues involving the family from divorce to adoption to guardianship], criminal defense of adult and juveniles, and real estate transactions.
