FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is unique to my clients needs, but starts with asking questions. The more questions I ask, the more information I can gather to create designs tailored to your needs!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training includes: Working at a henna shop for 8 plus years. Working at a tattoo shop learning how designs and the curvature of the body influence the final product, customer service, and illustration skills. Working at fairs, festivals, and birthday parties for over 8 years. Consulting a theme park on starting up a henna kiosk for the summer. Consulting individuals on henna products and quality. Formal Education: Graduated in December 2017 with honors from George Mason University Dual Degrees: Double BA in English and Art History BA in Graphic Design. During my scholastic studies, I have written many research papers on the culture and historical traditions of henna. For my senior thesis project: I wrote, designed, and published a 160 page book about henna which included over 100 original photographs and illustrations! Additionally, I have taken may fine art and painting classes at community colleges in San Diego and NOVA too, which all help with the design process of creating amazing henna designs!
