Cassie has been involved with dogs since she was a little girl on her family's farm in Minnesota. In 2010, she started using her skills to foster and rehabilitate abandoned dogs for her local SPCA and Southeast German Shepherd Rescue (SGSR). She now sits on the board of SGSR and has personally fostered over 70 dogs all with different rehabilitation needs and personalities. Her pack, German Shepherds Jemma, Jager and Titan, German Shepherd/malinois mix Andy, and senior Labrador Toby, inspires her to help other dogs live off leash every day.
Bryan and Cassie are thrilled to bring Off Leash K9 Training to the Charlottesville area, specializing in the same dog training techniques used by the military and law enforcement. This style of training encompasses their core beliefs and philosophy of consistency, fairness, and crystal clear communication that will turn your dog into a well behaved member of society in any situation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you can easily talk to your trainer. If initial communication is a problem then its doubtful that communication through your course will improve.
