Our business has been utilizing Sweet Melissaâs Catering for over 3 years to provide quality meals for all of our employees. Sweet Melissaâs Catering provides a high quality product, a wide variety menu, and flexibility with scheduling which sometimes changes on a daily basis. Sweet Melissaâs Catering is always open to new suggestions about her meals and will change the menu if needed. Providing quality catering to our employees during long work days goes a long way in boosting moral amongst the team. Sweet Melissa catering was absolutely fabulous. The food was perfectly seasoned and presented. Her and her team when above and beyond to make my wedding reception memorable. She gets ***** five stars! My guests raved about the food, especially the pulled pork with her made from scratch bbq sauce. I would definitely hire her again and again. You can't go wrong with Melissa and her team.

She did a perfect job with helping me select catering items for a bridal shower, keeping the costs low, and helping me organize the event. She showed up on time and set up all the food for me. She cut the veggie lasagna and started all the burners. She was incredibly pleasant and friendly! It was a perfect experience and the guests loved the food!! I will definitely use her catering services again!

Melissa fed over 300 vets and VA staff at VA hospital in Richmond. 100 of these vets were bed ridden and served in their rooms. The feedback from the VA was great and we will be using Melissa again next year for the same event. It was awesome!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact I like to speak with clients to get a better feel of exactly what they are looking for and give them ideas and possibly more information that they may have not thought of.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the catering and restaurant business for over 25 years. I also obtained a 4 year bachelor's degree.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many bride and grooms to help create a wedding dinner to remember. I have helped create wedding and baby shower lunchons, graduations, summer parties and even catered a Thanksgiving dinner for 300 of our veterans at the VA hospital in Virginia.
