- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Virginia state law requires a charge of no more than $5 per document notarization (in-person), and $25 per document notarization (electronic notarization). Travel fee starting at $50 (30 miles or less), and discounts are offered periodically.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone consultation to discuss notarization needs, invoice sent to customer via email and all fees must be paid prior to appointment arrival. Day of appointment: Customer must have valid/unexpired ID. Witness available (if required) Identity and signatures will be verified and documents will be notarized. *Depending on the document, overall process is usually 5-10mins
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Is your document an Acknowledgement or a Jurat? How many pages of the document require notarization? Do you have a valid/unexpired ID?
