- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fee is fixed according to distance. If Central Virginia from Charlottesville to Farmville, Staunton to Henrico $ 120, Further distances are from $ 130.00. Fee expected at the Rehearsal or if no rehearsal before the ceremony. Cash or check accepted. Some cases negotiable, just ask ! We still do church weddings in our beautiful churches for a low cost for those desiring to be married in a church, no membership commitment required. Please ask if interested and this includes on our tree covered grounds !!!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone interview to obtain needed information. Face to face meeting if needed. No extra fee for Rehearsal. Whatever the couple wants I try to comply with as well as offer suggestions they may not have thought about to add things to their wedding. Those desiring to be wed in a church or church grounds we charge a nominal fee for church use, just ask! We also have 2 halls in two of the churches that are also available for a fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an Ordained minister and pastor of local churches since 1977. I have both a Bachelor and Master's Degree's in theology as well as an earned Doctorate in Theology. I am a certified Pastoral Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselor out of Forest Virginia. I am also currently serving in the United Methodist Church in the Scottsville are and pastor a 3 point charge meaning 3 churches. I have also served Baptist and non-denominational churches in the past.
