FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do offer great financing, and our pricing is in line with industry norms for a properly licensed and insured company, with background checked and drug tested employees. We are not the cheapest on the surface, but one thing we have found over the years is paying a higher price for something to be done right the first time, is a lot cheaper than paying to do it two or three times. In full transparency, we charge what we are worth, and strive to exceed expectations with every job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer we seek to understand their issue first over the phone, and give them a decent picture of what they can expect prior to setting an initial appointment. On the initial visit we assess the issues, take photos, and if it is a something small like a minor plumbing repair, we give a flat rate price to fix it that day. If it is a larger or less urgent repair or project, we send over an itemized estimate the next day, along with a copy of our license and proof of insurance, as well as a full photo report. We can also assist with financing if needed. If the client moves forward with the job, we place it on our schedule, and stay in touch until the job day comes. We then execute the job as close to perfection as we can, and make sure the client is happy prior to receiving final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner Robbie McCarty is a licensed Class-A Building Contractor, and Licensed Plumber, as well as a college degree from Radford University. April McCarty has years of office management, banking, and paralegal experience to help make sure the office runs smoothly. Our employees have years or even decades of experience in the trades, and are the top technicians in the industry. We pay to hire the best, and only hire A-Class technicians. We find that hiring the best techs means work get done faster and at a higher level, so it actually doesn't cost us more to pay people well. While we aren't perfect, we truly strive to be experts at our craft, and do everything just like we would want it done at our home, or our mother or grandmother's home.
