I would highly recommend Patriot Crawl Space to anyone looking for crawl space or foundation work to be completed on their home. Working with Robbie and April was a pleasure throughout the entire process they were both extremely knowledgeable and easy to stay in touch with. I also had a very positive interaction with the technician, Aaron, who came to work on my home. He was professional, courteous, and even took time to answer questions I had after he was finished.What I appreciated most about working with the team at Patriot Crawl Space was their honesty. When Robbie came out to inspect my home I was very clear about what I wanted. He completed a thorough inspection and then gave me a very simple solution to keep my crawl space protected. There was no upselling or complicated explanations about what I could do instead. He was very clear with what work would be necessary and what work wouldve been a waste of my money. I actually thought that an encapsulation would have been best, but he convinced me that it was entirely unnecessary for my situation. Compared to many large remodeling companies and franchise operations, we're often able to offer more competitive pricing while using higher-quality materials and finishes. Every estimate clearly explains what's included so you know what to expect before work begins. Before asking you to sign a contract, we inspect the framing, subfloor, and plumbing whenever possible so hidden problems are identified up front, not after demolition begins. Financing is available for larger projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with an in-home consultation to discuss your goals, budget, and timeline. For remodeling projects, we inspect the framing, subfloor, and plumbing before preparing an estimate so potential issues are identified early. You'll receive a detailed written proposal outlining the scope of work, materials, and pricing. Once approved, we schedule your project, maintain communication throughout construction, and complete a final walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner has over 25 years of residential construction experience and is a licensed Virginia Master Plumber and the qualifying individual for our Virginia Class-A Residential Building Contractor license. That experience allows us to manage everything from remodeling and plumbing to structural repairs under one roof, giving homeowners one accountable contractor from start to finish.
