I had Joe do a large patio behind my house. It was on both sides of an elevated deck. It included some retaining walls, a fire pit, and some planters. Quality work! Still looks great after four years.

While Joe's work was good, he did not always show to work. So, what he quoted would take about three days, actually took more like two weeks. He would always leave and say he would return in the morning - this was not the case. The days he did work were usually a couple hours in the afternoon.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In fact, this is the (off)season where I can do just that! Last week was the TechoBloc Contractors Showcase with Continuing Credit course on Permeable Paving. February 16-18th Patio Joe will be in Atlantic City for the Mid Atlantic Hardscape Trade Show & will take classes for more continuing credit of ICPI(pavers) & NSW(retaining walls). The last day being a brand new certification for Permanent Raised Patios through the EP Henry Corp. & February 5th we'll be studying Nicolock's latest certifications and new products @ Stone Center in Fredericksburg, VA
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was quickly promoted and educated professionally because I spoke Spanish & enjoyed "the dirty work".
What types of customers have you worked with?
Consultations and repairs of the previous work of others. Firepits & Outdoor Kitchens have been the rage the last year or two.
