Thumbtack is great at finding contractors when I have emergencies. This time, it helped me find Tiger Home Improvement LLC. My mom's garage ceiling drywall (circa 1974) was failing & falling off the ceiling. UGH! Tiger Home Improvement LLC is an exceptional company that I would highly recommend to anyone requiring drywall work or any other skilled work around your house. Here are my top 3 reasons: #1: Of the pros I contacted, ONLY Mr. Vinatea (Rodolfo) insisted on seeing the drywall in person to give me the best estimate. He explained why it failed (drywall wasn't painted - not just the age) as well as the available options to fix it. Rodolfo also insisted that I call him if I have any questions. Which leads us to #2. #2: Rodolfo worked with me to provide the safest & most esthetically pleasing solution for my mom throughout the project. Although the initial estimate was to securely cover all of the old drywall with new drywall, there wasn't enough clearance between the garage door into the house and the garage ceiling to do so. I discovered this issue after agreeing to our initial estimate while clearing out & prepping the garage for the drywall repair. So, I call Rodolfo. 😊 Rodolfo & his team assessed this issue on the first day and together we agreed to update the plan to remove all the old drywall all together. Which leads us to the best one, #3. #3: Rodolfo's and the entire team of Tiger Home Improvement LLC were extremely professional. Rodolfo was either on site or in contact with me every day - several times a day - to make sure that all was going as I expected. We worked out any concerns I had immediately without any condescension from him or his team. His team showed up on-time and treated this job with the skills you would only expect on a major contract site (or an HGTV production). They fully demonstrated that they are skilled drywallers - from installing to mudding to finishing. They also cleaned the worksite at the end of each day. Even with the change in scope of work, the job was completed in the 3 to 4 days estimated. Tiger Home Improvement LLC – totally professional & totally exceptional. Thank you!!

Did a very good job. Very responsive and listened to what I wanted. I did an interior wall project with sliding barn doors and added a closet to set up room or office in a previous open area. I will be doing more projects with them in the future. Very happy with the overall results. You can see in the picture the closet which did not exist before. Also the interior non-load bearing wall the sliding doors are hanging on did not exist either.

Could not ask for better! Rodolfo is incredible, and we’ll be using him for all future projects. Professional, able to do anything (“we can build a whole house, so of course we can do XYZ”), fair prices, responsive, and a wonderful and friendly person! He and his team did excellent work on about a dozen projects for our new home, including the big project of replacing a large section of the front of our house that had significant rot due to improper installation of windows by prior owners. Entailed some specialty exterior work. Rodolfo is very genuine and wants you to be happy. You can’t go wrong with Tiger Home Improvement!
