Christy is the best! I've been working out with her for about 3 months now, and am definitely noticing a difference! I'm stronger, healthier and more motivated in my own workouts. Plus, my legs, hips and butt are looking a lot better :) I get excited about trying new exercises, and Christy has inspired me to have more fun and variety in my exercise routines. I have more energy now than I did before training with Christy, and have increased my physical strength and ability a lot! Christy is also really sweet. She will push you to work hard and prioritize fitness and your own health, but she is kind, supportive and really easy to work with. I look forward to my workouts with her every week! If you have injuries, are overweight, or otherwise concerned about starting personal training, don't worry about it! Christy will work with your fitness level to give you a challenging and appropriate workout. Three months ago, I couldn't run without a lot of pain, and got tired after 10 squats. Now, I'm running and can do a ton of squats! Christy is knowledgeable about fitness (and nutrition) and can help you achieve your fitness goals and improve your overall health. I have been working out with Foxy body Fitness twice a week in my home for about a year and a half. I have gone from a size 16 to 8. In that I am over 50 I am thrilled to be back in my old clothes! Give Christy a call... the only thing you have to lose is inches!Jul 13, 2011
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I go to yearly national and international conventions to learn the latest and greatest information available in this field. It is always evolving (remember leg warmers and Jane Fonda?! Oh how things have changed!). I have also presented at these conferences and train personal trainers and educators. I teach a personal trainer certification course and I'm passionate about lifelong learning in the fields of health and nutrition.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I help to facilitate a complete life overhaul for clients to become their true, authentic selves. We make gradual, small changes that lead to an enormous change in the end. The health coach side addresses nutrition and lifestyle changes that keep you from reaching your goals and the personal training helps to get your physical body working the way it is intended to. Its not a quick fix, but we will hold your hand through the process to make it the last fix you need! We will change the way you function to make it easy to maintain the weight loss rather than gaining it back. We hope to give you the tools and resources to do this for the rest of your life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure you connect with the person that will be training you. Personal training is just that- PERSONAL! If you don't feel comfortable talking to your trainer that should be a red flag that you are not a good fit.
