Welcome! I'm Veronica, the owner of PetFriend, LLC. PetFriend employees combine years of experience with a playful, caring approach to every pet. The foundation I built didn’t happen overnight. It was laid quietly and over time—one trusted visit, one wagging tail, happy cats, one reassured pet parent at a time. Cat/dog petsitting, and petsitting/ housesitting services provided. Unless for medical reasons, we do not do two visits a day for petsitting, and suggest if you want that anyway, that we housesit.
Please note that holiday time prices are higher.
Remote consultations are available for cat sitting. All of our employees wear masks for any in person, indoor meets.

Veronica is extremely professional and friendly. She helped our dog, walking and feeding and helping our blind dog cope with the separation. This was our first time apart from our dog. She texted pictures of her walking our dog during each visit. Veronica is trustworthy and we will use her in the future. It’s a relief to have someone we can totally trust to take care of our dog!

I used Veronica for a business trip to Fairfax with my papillon. She came to the hotel and took Baby Sister out at lunchtime each day and everything worked out very well. I would use her again and highly recommend her for her punctuality, work quality and responsiveness.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many services charge by line item: additional for also taking care of plants, retrieving mail and so on. As long as we can fit addt'l duties without neglecting your pet(s) it's one price. Our housesitting prices are particularly competitive as we charge one all inclusive price. Please note that any difficulties with parking WILL incur additional fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss our policies and responsibilities and get the information we need to take the best care of your pets.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner has 20 years taking care of pets in their homes and 5 years experience as a veterinary assistant including emergency care.
