Jamil the tech. was working a job late Monday when he received my request--he sent an e-mail saying he could stop by and check out my problem after he finished the job he was working. He was here around 9pm and found the problem--compressor--and told me to call Kenmore because it could still be under warranty as it was less than 10 yrs old. Jamil was HONEST enough to yell me this and may have saved me a lot of money--would call again if I needed any appliance fixed.

I went to my local listserve looking for someone to fix our old wall oven. Was given the name of VANDAM Appliance. Jam was extremely responsive, he listened to what I had to say, had the part with him when he showed up and was able to fix the oven with no problem. I had a little bit of plumbing work that needed to be done quickly so I asked if he could do that as well, graciously, said yes and finished the project without any problems or issues. Service was terrific and went well above and beyond. I recommend this company highly, take my word for it. Great work!

Jamil was great. He came promptly for an estimate, and was able to complete the work right there an then. His rate was reasonable, and he even provided us with information on how to fix a different appliance on our own. I will definitely be calling him again!

Vandam responded immediately to my initial call and was able to come out the same day. He determined what was wrong with my washer and had to order a part. The part came in a little over a week later. He could have come out the day the part arrived, but I was not available. He came out the next day, fixed my washed and I am extremely pleased. The store where I bought the washer could not ever give me an appointment to look at it until tomorrow, let along determine the problem and see how long it would take to obtain parts. I would definitely recommend Vandam Appliance.
