Cox was very responsive, prompt, and helpful when scheduling an appointment to replace our hot water heater. They provided a very reasonable and fair quote. Most importantly, the install was completed efficiently and Cox did a wonderful job installing our new hot water heater. Very happy and satisfied with their work!

First of all, Cox Climate Control gave us an estimate that was much lower than the others. Not only that but for a much better system. They did not nickel and dime you for every little thing, or try to up sell you on a maintenance agreement that is not needed for a while. They were very professional with there installation and answered any questions I had.

I am really happy with the result from Cox Climate Control. I told them what I want, what my concerns are and they provided exactly what I needed. Since I always get multiple quotes and opinions it became quick clear that Cox Climate Control is genuine. The final quote was also one of the lowest range. Any additional requests outside of the standard were also accommodated without any problems. When they replaced the HVAC and water heater they also made sure that they don't leave any trace and covered everything. They were also into the details and recommended to adjust the ground behind the outdoor unit to make sure that it will stay leveled long term. In the end I was also pleasantly surprised that the final cost was actually lower as the quote. How often does this happen? Only downside I noticed was email communication. I had the impression that they react better to questions asked through ThumbTack and that email can fall through the cracks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Customers should always look on DPOR's website to see if the contractor is licensed and if they have any disciplinary actions against them. Every HVAC company should have a master HVA license. It is very important to hire a licensed contractor. I would also ask them if they are insured and can provide proof. Better to,be safe than sorry!
