- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer 6 hours of service for $250. Clients either purchase 6 hour blocks of services or pay a $50/hr rate. The rate is adjusted based on the client's requirement and can be as low as $25/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an initial appointment to formally discuss the client's project requirements and our capabilities. We then apply our "LIGHT" framework to guide the client's project requirements through to completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent 15 years working in the energy, education, and financial services sectors. I began my professional career as an engineering project manager with NextEra Energy, a Florida-based electric utility company, where I managed multi-million dollar facilities expansion projects. After attending graduate business school, I moved to the role of CFO for the DC Public Charter School Board, a DC-based public charter school authorizer, where I was responsible for financial oversight of a 52-member, $600 million education system. In 2008 I founded Gemini Financial Strategists, a financial services company that specializes in providing financial advisory services to small businesses and nonprofits in the DC Metro area, where I have served as managing director of client services since 2012. Collectively, our team has in excess of 75 years of experience serving the needs of small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Each of our five team members has at least a business or accounting degree.
