Fitness Machine Technicians recently performed routine maintenance on my elliptical. The requested service was completed as expected. While on site, the technician identified an issue with the tension selection. He asked if I would like a diagnosis, letting me know that it would exceed the original time estimate and involve additional costs. I agreed, and I appreciated his attention to detail. However, I did encounter a few issues following the service. Most concerningly, during the first use after the technician’s visit, a bolt fell out while my daughter was using the machine. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured, but this was a serious safety concern. I’ve attached a photo of the bolt for reference. I was able to reinstall it and get the elliptical functioning again. In addition, the diagnosed problem was said to be related to the resistance motor, and I was told I’d receive a repair estimate. I have yet to hear any follow-up. One of my initial complaints—a persistent squeaking noise—was also reported as resolved, but the noise remains unchanged. At nearly $200, after the additional diagnosis, the service has unfortunately left us in nearly the same position as before.

This company came into my home and assess my bike damage. They did not take pictures and do not provide pictures of broken parts. They did not provide me with part numbers or items need to fix the broken parts. They stated it could not be fixed because “the part” Wasn’t made anymore. I called multiple times to gain more information so they could help me and I was informed that was their standard protocol. I had the bike company come to assess the damage and found that this company broken their Allen wrench tool into my bikes pedal and never informed me. I’m so disappointed in this terrible service and I would never recommend this company. I feel used by them and they seem to be ok with that.
