I offer premier, high-quality golf instruction at fair, accessible rates. I’ve enjoyed and studied the game for many years and currently compete on the Golfweek Amateur Tour, bringing real on-course experience to every lesson.
I’m a certified golf instructor through the National Registry of Professional Golf Instructors (NRPGI), as well as a certified Callaway Golf Equipment Fitter and Product Specialist, with hands-on industry experience as a Dick’s Sporting Goods golf associate. I stay current on the latest Callaway equipment to help you get the most from your swing and your gear.
Outside of golf, I’m a certified football official with Stafford County Parks and Recreation and a former Deputy Football Commissioner of Dale City Sports Club, reflecting my long-term commitment to sports and fair play.

I had never taken a golflesson or picked up a golf club prior to my first lesson with Horace. He was incredibly patient with me which was not only helpful but it put me at ease. His lessons were very informative and he took plenty of time to answer my questions. I came away feeling like I had all of the skills to continue building and refining my game. His enthusiasm for the game was also contagious. Can’t recommend Horace enough whether you’re a beginner or expert!

I hired Horace to correct certain issues with my swing that have been plaguing me as I try to improve my game. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new students/customers, I recommend that they go through all 4 golf instruction sessions ( e.g. Full Swing, Pitch Shot, Chip Shot, and Putting). Then, I will coordinate with the new student dates/times to begin training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
