FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
• My base onsite consulting rate is $150/hour, which reflects the quality of work, the enterprise-grade tools, and the travel involved in delivering in-person service. • I do offer discounted and flat rates for remote work, ongoing Managed IT (CO-IT) agreements, and longer projects, as those are more efficient to support. • Please note: I’ll always do my best to provide value, but for smaller one-off engagements, the platform gets its share. Longer projects or direct work? Way more flexible — and fewer raccoons. Let’s talk about your project and find the most cost-effective way to help.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick conversation to understand what you need — no high-pressure sales, just clarity. From there, I’ll recommend the right approach, give you a realistic estimate, and get to work. I aim for clean results, minimal disruption, and lasting solutions. You’ll always know what I’m doing and why.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring over 30 years of hands-on experience working with a wide range of clients — from small businesses and remote offices to enterprise environments. Over the years, I’ve earned a litany of certifications and stayed current with evolving technologies across networking, security, power systems, and remote infrastructure. It’s a career built on solving real-world problems — not theory.
