I’m Kristy, a Shenandoah Valley area and destination photographer. I can provide a custom quote for any type of session or event, so feel free to reach out with your ideas.
My goal is making you feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuine. During your session I’ll provide gentle prompts that let your authentic personality shine. I’ve been told by clients after their sessions, “You made me feel like I’ve known you forever!” I help with everything from outfit planning to choosing the prettiest locations and most flattering lighting.
With a bachelors degree in art and 20 years of experience with a camera, I have a creative eye coupled with technical skill. I handle all of the details and capture the connections and emotions that matter to you most.

Kristys warm and gentle demeanor paired with her expertise behind the camera led to an exceptional experience. The quality of the photos were stunning and impressive, but, it was the work she put in before and after the shoot which set her apart. She took the time and effort to connect with my fianc and I before our engagement and truly learn our story. Personal preference mixed with her charming artistic creativity resulted in pure magic. We would highly recommend her and appreciate her dedication.

I needed a photographer to secretly take candid photos of my daughter getting engaged, and Kristy understood the assignment! Kristy is the best photographer Ive ever worked with, and believe me there have been a few! Not only is she professional and punctual but made a point to connect with the grandchildren (ages 1 and 3) and put them at ease. There were seven of us ages 1 to 96,so we ran the gamit. She was very patient with the children (and adults) and made sure the lighting was good and the background perfect. We couldnt be happier with our family portraits. Kristy is a beautiful soul inside and out! Please use her to do your next photography session!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Did a surprise proposal - Kristy helped every step of the way. We are from out of town and were on vacation during Christmas time, we knew nothing of the area. Kristy gave multiple options for amazing spots, and helped narrow it down to what my Fianc liked. She was extremely flexible, good at communicating, was able to keep the surprise, and was very fair priced. Pictures turned out amazing, got a lot of shots and angles in the sunset looking over the mountains. It was a perfect and unforgettable experience. Thank you again! Couldn't recommend enough.
