Introduction: I have a fresh and modern approach to photography. I love to use my creativity to capture unique images for each client. After studying and graduating with a BFA in Photography and Graphic Design at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I bring in fine art touches to my wedding and lifestyle photography. Another way to stand out in this industry is to always be looking for new locations for portrait session. Having fresh places to take photos gives not only me the photographer a creative fresh slate, but also the client. I love every part of my job. I think capturing the moments on camera is so special, and then to take them back to the office and to edit them is great... But the best part may be presenting the photos to the clients!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was the kid who always had a camera in her hand. I took Barbie wedding photographs and posed my stuffed animals for photo shoots. Back then everything was still film. It was so exciting to take the film to the store and then come back and see what I had captured on film! But it wasn't until college that I actually decided that photography and design were what I would do as my career. I had always been interested in the arts and I knew I wanted to achieve a degree in the Arts. So freshman year I took photo 101 and learned how to develop my own photos in the Darkroom, it was so magical. Right then, knew i would be a photographer!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for the style of photography or design you are hoping for. Each photographer has a different style or eye and there is one that will fit exactly what you hope for!
