WOW - This was the first time I'd hired a personal chef to come to the house. It was truly a treat to have Aneva cook for us on NYE. Private Cooking Lessons
Chef Aneva was absolutely fantastic! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a personal chef experience or a learning/cooking class experience. My family and I had her over at our house to do an instructional cooking session. The birthday boy wanted to learn to do homemade pasta and Aneva came up with several menu options for us to choose from. We went with a ricotta and herb stuffed tortellini in a red sauce with sausage as well as a spinach stuffed chicken breast over fettucini alfredo. Everything was made from scratch and was absolutely delicious. We also started with a Kale, pear, goat cheese, and prosciutto salad with a delicious homemade vinaigrette dressing. For dessert, Aneva prepared a Panna Cotta ahead of time since it needs some time to prep, but we helped with making a homemade whipped cream topping. She even said to save the extra whipped cream, mix some chocolate or other flavors in to it, and freeze it for a delicious ice cream-esque desert another time. Aneva is down to earth, outgoing, and very passionate about cooking. During every dish she told us of different ways you can mix it up and add different flavors or variations to any dish. She is truly an artist who lives, breaths, and thinks about cooking and recipes 24/7. We found the price she quoted us to be very reasonable and she didn’t charge us extra for us going over the allotted/planned amount of time (and we went over by a couple hours but only because we were all having so much fun!). Chef Aneva is highly personable and she has incredible knowledge for how to improve any dish. Her understanding of the nuances of meal preparation for a variety of meats and dishes was outstanding.
