Introduction
We are a premier event decor and planning company, designed to offer custom services for weddings, corporate events, and everything in between. Event Envy was established in 2013 and our office is headquartered in Sterling, Virginia. We service the entire Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. region and are staffed to accommodate event sizes from small intimate parties to large social gatherings. Our specialization pertains to South Asian and Middle Eastern weddings, however our services and experience extends to a wide range of clientele and event types.

I am not sure where to begin because Amina and Mehdi really made our wedding very special and one to remember. We received so many and I mean so many compliments for our decor! They were so easy to work with and knew exatly what I wanted! They worked hard to make sure they presented what we wanted, everything was just so perfect! The communication was a breeze! They were always there to address all questions and concerns. One of the things we loved about them was that they were very honest about everything. They came prepared with so many ideas and which really helped us! From what I had envisioned, they delivered so much more! Thank you guys so much from the bottom of our hearts! I will defnitely be referring others your way!

I scheduled an appointment with Amina and she ended up scheduling another appointment along with mine and ended up bailing on me when I arrived a few minutes late @ the meeting place where we were supposed to plan my events. I found she gave me 1 hour to discuss prior to her next engagement, which for planning 3 events, is not enough time considering it took me 3 hours with my video/photographers alone. I wouldn't recommend her simple because she did not handle our "meet up" professionally due to the fact she didn't tell me she had another client, or I would have happily rescheduled. She also indicated "let's just talk by phone" versus rescheduling. I have nothing against her as a person, just her professionalism is what bothered me.

You initially asked to meet on 3/15 - I complied with your request. I emailed you couple of days prior to confirm our meeting and you said to change meeting to 3/16 @ 6PM (in Reston) - I complied with your request. Then you called and asked to change meeting to 3/17 @ 6PM - I complied with your request. Then you asked to move meeting to 6:30PM and you picked location (in McLean) and place - I complied again to be flexible (knowing that your wedding is only a little over 1 month away).
The day of our meeting I arrived to our meetup location 30 minutes ahead of time at 6pm, just to ensure I was not going to be late. I called you at 6pm just to make sure you were still planning on coming and you stated yes. At 6:45pm I texted you and did not hear back from you until 6:55 when you said you are parking. At 7:01PM you still had not arrived and I called you to let you know that I was going to leave and I needed to be back in Reston by 7:30. You mentioned you only had a couple of questions and so I offered to answered them while we were on the phone. You declined I also offered to meet with you this weekend.
In all honesty I really tried to be very accomodating, especially since your wedding is coming up, but you rescheduled several times, you did not inform me that you were going to be late on the day of the meeting, and even though I let you pick the day, time, and location of our meetup, you were more than 30 minutes late.
Perhaps I could have allocated more time for our meeting, but given the fact that up to that point it had taken you almost a month to get a chance to meet, I would have perferred to meet with you for at least 30-45 minutes than having to keep pushing our meeting out, because at the end of the day, last thing I want is for us to compromise the quality of your wedding and having to rush things last minute.

We hired Event Envy to provide drapes for our reception and could not be happier with the service they provided! First of all, don't be put off by the fact that they specialize in South Asian weddings, they did a wonderful job at our Chinese restaurant venue. We hired them to provide simple white drapes and they made things look amazing! Really elevated the venue! Event Envy even put in extra effort into visiting the venue a couple days prior to our wedding to ensure they had everything ready to go day of. On our wedding day, they arrived very early and worked well with the venue managers which took a load of stress off of us. They were very attentive to every detail as they steamed out any wrinkles and ensured the drapes flowed perfectly. Email communication was quick, friendly, and clear!
